By accessing or using Hanzi Rush, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. Description of Service

Hanzi Rush is an educational application designed to help users learn Chinese characters through spaced repetition and interactive exercises.

3. User Accounts

You may use Hanzi Rush as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use automated systems to access the service
  • Use the service for any illegal purposes

5. Intellectual Property

All content provided through Hanzi Rush, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Hanzi Rush or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

6. Disclaimer

Hanzi Rush is provided "as is" without any warranties. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hanzi Rush shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany and the European Union. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Düsseldorf, Germany.

9. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

EU consumers have the right to withdraw from digital purchases within 14 days without giving any reason, unless the digital content has been accessed/downloaded with express consent.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
